Our go to takeout, always delicious! We love the chicken, guns, salads, and sauces. It's in a food cart pod with other great options. the area has fires so it's great for winter too!
After many trips here with flawless service and delicious food, it's time to Yelp about my love for this chicken, the sauced, and those crispy, steaming hot potatoes. I really like this place and the food park it resides in. Even in the winter, there's always warm, protected table with a fire pit to cozy up to. While others noted rube behavior from the counter help, I've only experienced fun, engaged people here(about 8 visits in 4 years). That's not a huge sample size but my experience is consistent and delightful. I'll be back!
This is my favorite chicken. It is so good. It doesn't really even need the sauce but the green sauce is amazing too. The guy who runs it is super cool and offers great service. And the whole place at night is a vibe that makes you feel alive and part of the city.
My son wanted to come to Chicken and Guns and I am not personally a huge fan of smoked meat. We ordered the whole bird and guns. The chicken was tender and juicy and had smoke flavor. The potatoes were crispy and had some nice salt on them. I'm only giving 4 stars because I just don't like the smoke flavor on any meat but if you like that flavor I'm sure you'll like this place.
I work across the street from this cart pod. I should come more often. The food is great, service is as well. Lots of seating, plus a big tent for when it rains.
1/4 Bird & Potatoes w/ garlic Peruvian Aji Pros: yum yum yum!!! Seasoned well without the sauce. The sauce takes up a notch. Lots of potatoes. Cons: none
Food came fast, chicken was good though I wish there was a little more meat on it. Potatoes were delightfully crispy and the chimichurri sauce added a nice touch to cut the heaviness from the fried. Cartopia is a nice place to hang out, I liked how they had a sink with their port-a-potty's.
Chicken and guns was pretty good. The food was decent and the potatoes were good too. I loved the pickled onions the most (but I just love pickled onions) The food was pretty good but just a bit dry. The cartopia place has a nice ambiance. I liked the vibe of the food truck too. Our food came out pretty quickly, not a super long wait. Also - they had no line. The person working the food truck was nice too Overall, it was a good experience
